Welcome engaged couples! We are so happy to have you here and interested in using locally grown flowers on your wedding day. Here at Iron Meadows we have the unique privilege of being able to design our seasonal growing plan based on the trending colors and textures that couples want for their special day. For example: June brides receive peonies, and September brides see dahlias, both of which are very unique and seasonal.
Iron Meadows brides receive custom planning based on their thoughts and ideas and each bride is completely unique to us. We love color and texture with minimal additions of greenery. If this sounds like your style too, let’s get planning!
Wedding florals will be offered during the months that our seasonal flowers are in bloom: May – October.

Seasonal Flowers
Understanding the seasonality of every stem we grow is the most important concept to supporting the local flower movement. Starting in April and every week until our first frost, we always have something new in bloom. Take a look below at what flowers you can expect to see in bloom during your wedding month. Some flowers bloom into the following months but are listed under their main blooming month.

Farm Fresh Flowers
When booking your wedding flowers with us, the vast majority of stems will come from the farm. Certain necessary elements may not be grown here, and may be required to be brought in from other farms or wholesalers.
Iron Meadows Flower Farm is focused on keeping local flowers, local. We are located in Buckley, IL and will travel up to 100 miles from the farm for your wedding floral installations and delivery. This includes the Chicagoland, Northwest Indiana, and Central Illinois regions.
If you’ve fallen in love with our floral creations either in person or via social media, you know to expect the highest quality stems in your arrangements.
